• Minimum cash injection of 10% of the total project cost for existing businesses; a minimum of 20% to 50% for start-ups.
  
  
• The business must be located within certain geographical areas.
  
  
• Must meet SBA small business size standards. (These are listed under the individual loan products.)
  
  
• Viable business purpose as per SBA guidelines.
  
  
• Must meet an economic development objective.
